I have had the BEST dog for the past 17 years -the LOVE of our lives. She has been and continues to be awesome. But we never knew what she was until now. Not that I can ever replace her, but she has been family forever and I wanted to know. So we invested - this cost about the same as my Ancestry DNA test where I found out that in spite of being raised on a reservation and thinking I was a little native American, I am really a white girl - shocking. I was less surprised by Reidell's results. She is a pomeranian but the other half - CHIHUAHUA!! Huh? She is more native American than I am it appears.

This was so worth it. It was a bit of a pain getting the swabs of spit because she is not exactly a sweetheart (although that is what we love most about her - her bad attitude) but I am buying another for my new puppy who we were told was a Morkie and would be fully grown 5 to 7 pounds but has since grown to about 18 pounds. lol .

I was so excited to order this DNA kit! I volunteer with an animal rescue, and we have been wondering what mix one of our dogs is! It was so easy to use. They give you 3 swabs, so you can collect a saliva sample on each one. The dog we used it on is one of our "difficult" dogs, and he let us put these in his mouth with no problem. They're on a long stick, so it makes it really easy! You register online, mail your samples into the company in a pre-paid, and pre-addressed envelope (you dont need to put a stamp on it) they send you an email when you they receive it. I am so excited to hear what mix Oliver is! Highly recommend this DNA kit!

bred siamese really was! Yes!! Everything checked out! This kit was so easy to use and results came back quickly! It also provided much needed information on the health of my cat's family tree. I was able to share this with my veterinarian so if a health issue would come up, we had the family history! This is a fantastic product with great service!!

I’ve always thought my dog was part beagle, because that’s what the adoption agency told me, but it ends up he’s not! Thanks to this product I now know my dog’s actual make up! How cool is that!

Wow, its amazing how much I have discovered about my dog. Before I heard about this site I had many unanswered question about my dog. Now I have most of the answers and I can truly say I know my dog a lot more

When I heard about Orivet I was very skeptical, I didn't think they can actually tell me anything new about my dog. Boy I was wrong, to start with I didn't even know he had a Labrador in him (now I know why he loves the water so much). If you have a mixed breed dog, I cannot recommend this enough

I decided to give this book ago because its seems like a good idea. I had no idea that this would lead to my Vet had discovering my Charlie had a serious heart condition, we are now on prevention and close monitoring, I hope this will extend his life

I now know his breeds, his health risk but most of all we have so much more fun together exploring all these great game suggestions, I am loving flyball the most and Cherry is just loving it.

This information is just amazing, how they could tell so much from my dog's DNA was mind blowing, I recommend to do the breed ID test first (unless you know) and order the genetic health book - all my family and friend did this and they are all wrapped.
